About Raymond Wangler Raymond L. Wangler (Ray) is a Licensed Peace Officer with the Fort Worth Police Department in Fort Worth, Texas. He has been with the Fort Worth Police Department since March 1984. He is currently assigned to the Traffic Investigation Unit as a Detective, assigned to traffic related offenses including DWI, Intoxication Assault, and Intoxication Manslaughter cases. Prior to this position, he was an Officer assigned to the Traffic Division, a Detective for the East Division Criminal Investigation Unit and worked in the Patrol Division. Ray has a TCLEOSE (Texas Licensing Agency) Master Peace Officer Certification as well as the TCLEOSE Instructor Certification. He is ACTAR accredited and has been accepted as Expert Witness in Tarrant County Criminal Court. Due to Det. Wangler’s highly skilled training, he is called out to investigate high profile accidents and those involving other Police Officers. Det. Wangler was awarded Detective of the Year for the Traffic Division in 2000 and Detective of the Year for Specialized Units in 2006. In August 2007, Det. Wangler received the Chiefs Letter of Recognition on the Officer Dwayne Freeto death case. In August 2007 Raymond Wangler became a Licensed Private Investigator and at this time started his own business of Collision Investigations & Analysis of Texas. |
